Linda Mather

In 1993, Linda Mather, Ed.D. founded Beacon Consulting Associates to help improve communications for corporate, non-profit, community, and public sector clients and to help them achieve better results.

Linda is a communications consultant, facilitator, and trainer specializing in group dynamics, facilitation, and leadership. She is professional facilitator, professional assessor, and global process manager certified by the International Association of Facilitators. Linda has more than 30 years of experience in education, nonprofits, and government.

With extensive expertise facilitating meetings on controversial community issues, Linda provides a safe environment for people to discuss their diverse views. As founding executive director of Forums Institute for Public Policy, Linda facilitated the New Jersey Policy Forums on Health and Medical Care for more than 10 years. Working with legislators and state-level stakeholders, Linda helped participants maintain civil discourse while they talked about often difficult and divisive topics.

Linda's consulting services include meeting facilitation, training, and original workshops in communications topics such as interpersonal skills, effective meetings, leadership, presentation skills, and boardsmanship.
